MEEC Policies


MEEC has an unwavering commitment to the health and safety of our personal subcontractors, clients and the public in general.

To achieve this we will:                                                                                                

  • Communicate MEEC Health and Safety policy and procedures to all staff and subcontractors to ensure all parties are aware of our and their obligations of duty of care.
  • Comply fully with the OHS regulations and legislation. Encourage all team members to adopt a safety culture both individually and collectively, and to implement safety practices as part of all work method procedures.
  • Continually improve our safety and health performance through a collaborative review process with our people, subcontractors and clients.

Quality Assurance

MEEC has an internal Quality Management System in place and we are currently working toward accreditation under AS/NZS ISO:9001


We continually provide personnel with required training to undertake work practices safely and efficiently. In line with industry recognized training accreditation. Refresher training is carried out on a regular basis to ensure compliance all personal have completed the following:

  • Blue Card
  • Water Corporation Contractor Induction Training
  • First Aid Senior and Basic
  • EWP Certification

Other Competencies include (personnel dependant):

  • Confined space entry
  • Tagging and Isolation
  • Working at heights
  • Dogging and crainage
  • Forklift operation
  • Project management certification (AIM)
  • Instrumentation endorsements
  • ACA cabling endorsements (Communications Cabling)
